Nowadays, technologies play a great role and have altered the attitude to work. They changed the way we communicate, our time management and our work environment. Besides, it was discovered that even children and adolescents have some kind of addiction to the cell phone use. It seems that a problem is developing fast as some children with smartphones make friends only with more tech-skilled ones. The other aspect is that 7 percent of people said that the use of mobile phones had caused them to lose a job or relationship (Birdwell 2007).
Sometimes management bans the usage of mobilephones at work in order to increase the work activity of everyone. Thus, it is worth saying that failure to comply with this important rule can trigger fines, warnings or even our dismissal. However, this device has become so useful and convenient that many people today cannot live without it even an hour. If we are asked to turn off the cell phones, we can feel anxiety and frustration because we cannot stay out of touch for that long period of time.
Moreover, it is also argued that smartphone use can interfere with the performance on other more important things if you become focused on your phone during work. It was noticed that some people do not think about workload and just type the instant messages all the time or refreshing the Facebook page.
