Each of us go through different challenges in our lives. These challenges contribute to either our success or our downfall. Regardless of age, the quest for knowledge is present in each one of us.

My name is (state your name) and I am a graduating student from the University of La Verne. I am taking BS in Organizational Management with high hopes of acquiring my degree by Spring of 2008. I am 33 years old, and a single mother to a 16-year-old daughter.

I am also a proud owner of three dogs. Originally, I am from Oxnard, California.We moved to Honolulu in 1992 after my senior year in high school. This was also the year that my daughter was born.

We stayed in Honolulu for three years, afterwhich, we moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where stayed for 1 ? years. I hated Las Vegas for reasons I cannot explain, and soon after, I moved to Upland, California, where I lived for 7 years. I took this opportunity to enroll in college. While we were in California, I studied at Citrus College, where I received an AA in Behavioral Science.While acquring my AA in Behavioral Science, I enrolled myself into bartending school. The knowledge that I have acquired in the said school paved way for me to bartend at Zendejas Mexican Restaurant in San Dimas, California.

The 7 years I spent in this restaurant helped me mature and develop, both as an individual and as a career mom. All my determination and hard work paid off for in 2003, I bought my first house in Fontana, California. It was a two-storey house, 2000 sq feet in dimension. I had this sudden feeling of content after purchasing the house.It was the product of all the years of hard work and perseverance.

I was also able to buy an F-150 lifted truck and 300C HEMI. Soon after, I decided to shift my carrer path and open my own business. Researches and a lot of investments were made for this business to succeed.

We chose DBJ Secuirty Services as the name of our company. It focused on Security Services that deal with security subcontractors for short and long terms. I am proud to say that we have been in business for five good years already.

My company holds different accounts like car dealerships, movie sets, apartment complexes, and construction sites. We also hold accounts in industrial complexes, special events, parking attendant, hotels, office buildings, and shopping centers. My employees are professionally trained and can cater to the needs of my clients. I have retired police officers and off duty police officers who can do private investigations, executive protection, personnal protection, patrol service, and even under cover details. My plans for an expansion of my company have always been on my mind.Since I have this passion for working and earning lots of money, it is just but right for me to make my company bigger. I do not only help myself, but I give job opportunities to people who need them most.

With everything said, I do believe that all of my hard work and experiences can contribute for my company to set up a new branch. This will somehow serve as my promotion in the business world, where everything can be considered as a gamble. It is my belief that the degree that I will earn from this institution will contribute to the success and growth of my company.
